Community Care

Clanfield Voluntary Care Group

We are a group of volunteers giving assistance to the residents of Clanfield and North Horndean who have no-one available to help them.  We have been in existence over 37 years.  Our running costs are met by voluntary donations.

We help in the following ways:

  • Transport to GP surgeries, hospital appointments, clinics, blood tests, chiropodists, opticians, dentists, local hairdressers and libraries.
  • Transport to local shops and local shopping for those who cannot get out.
Sitting with the housebound to provide company or relieve carers who need to go shopping or keep an appointment.
  • Help with pets short-term e.g. dog walking.

We are also always looking for more volunteers who enjoy helping their local community to join our happy group.
