Monthly get together at The Farmer
On the first Wednesday of the month from 8 pm members of CVRA have an informal get together at The Farmer . It’s a great way to catch up with neighbours and meet other village residents, both new and longstanding.

Sunday 25th June – Catherington Big Lunch
Tickets are on sale for the Catherington Big Lunch this year which will take place on Sunday 25th June
There will be a Hog Roast included in the ticket price and live music to get everyone into the swing. Other activities will include Steam Train Rides, Pillow Jousting, Treasure Hunt and Games, as well as the annual Catherington Tug of War.

New Trees Planted
Earlier in the year a grant was obtained from EHDC, courtesy of Sara Schillemore for the purchase of mature trees, and with the help of a donation from a CVRA member, the trees have been purchased and planted in the field opposite the Church car park on Catherington Lane.
Christmas Carols at The Farmer – 10th December
Get in to the Christmas spirit with carols on Saturday 10th December at The Farmer. The band will strike up from 6pm and there will be mulled wine and mince pies available. Bring family and friends along and join in with all your favourites.

The Queen’s 90th Birthday Party in Catherington
Instead of the usual “Big Lunch” which Catherington Village Residents Association (CVRA) has been holding for some years, this year they held a celebration to honour the Queen’s 90th birthday. It was a ticket only event that sold out weeks ahead of the big day.
